Our Kiwanis meeting this past Thursday was enjoyed by all! Richard Meredith of Meredith Construction giving a great talk about the Railyard project. President Elyse Brown poses here with Richard. The book will be presented in his honor to the Norfolk Public Library.

Debbie Hughes of the Virginia Beach Education Foundation accepting a $4700 check from Brian Dundon, our KCN Foundation President.

Our next meeting will be June 1 at Town Point Club with guest speaker Dr. James V. Koch – former President of ODU. We will also have two new members being inducted!

Sara Hair, Leadership Program Director and Facilitator for TCC’s Chesapeake Campus Gear Up to Lead, accepted a check from Brian Dundon at Thursday’s Kiwanis meeting. Norfolk Kiwanis’ Foundation selected 40 charities in Hampton Roads to receive funding this year.
